How Parker made a mistake at this magnitude?
Supreme Leader Shang Jong Parker has not been having a good week. His General Secretary, Linghu Xiaoliang, has just died in office unexpectedly, he has a state funeral and massive protests to worry about, and now his 2020 gamble against Donald Trump from when he publicly endorsed Joe Biden for President that year has come back to ruin his political image.
The Democrats' gain of the Presidency was a big gain for Parker, it was at first a risky gamble that was worth it, until it wasn't. Since Biden became President, inflation struck the American consumers, the Democrats had trouble keeping their coalition in line, and American politics was ripping itself from the inside out because Trump left Biden with a mess. November 5, 2024, Donald Trump wins the presidential election, dealing a blow to Parker's 2020 geopolitical calculations that most Chawosaurian Imperial Leaders very often don't dare to make and for good reason, to which Parker learned the hard way.
Parker, a strong believer in democracy, endorsed Joe Biden in October 2020 as a political statement for democracy, but that move was heavily criticized and opposed by Chawosaurian political insiders because: number one: Trump could win and Parker will look dumb; and two: it was clear in 2016 that another Supreme Leader, Abooksigun Eluwilussit, wanted Hillary Clinton to be President but never said it publicly, and when Hillary Clinton lost, Abooksigun Eluwilussit, a Democrat at home, was politically embarrassed by Trump's victory that he lost his own election in the 2016 Chawosaurian direct election to Green candidate Malina Lusa Parker (no relation to Shang Jong Parker), only for Malina Parker to be assassinated a month into her term.
In 2024, Parker actually did learn to stay away from American politics after 2020, but it was too clear to everyone that he wanted Kamala Harris to defeat Donald Trump. Fast forward, Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris actually by a worse margin than against Hillary Clinton. Kamala lost so bad that she gave Democrats their worst presidential election defeat in 20 years. Thus caused grumbling inside the walls of the Chawopolis Palace against Parker's decision to butt in to American politics in 2020, but does this mean Parker is doomed to be removed?
Frankly, No!
Parker is a much stronger Supreme Leader than Abooksigun Eluwilussit, that being because Parker is an experienced Imperial Leader who held power before 2020, the year he took office as Supreme Leader. So overthrowing Parker over an American presidential election that he wondered into is actually complicated than was against Eluwilussit. Plus, Chawosauria has bigger affairs: the state funeral of Linghu Xiaoliang and securing the Chawopolis Palace against looming winter protests over representation in the incoming 2025-2029 Chawosaurian Government elected last March. When Eluwilussit was being removed, Chawosauria had to face the Chawosaurian Revolution, but the government was too busy turning on each other which was why Eluwilussit was removed sufficiently.
Parker can suppress people who seeks to remove him, in fact, he's done it before, multiple occasions.
So no, Parker will not lose power over Kamala Harris' loss to Trump. But Kamala has become known jokingly as "Shang's Hillary".
Both Abooksigun Eluwilussit and Shang Jong Parker were embarrassed by Donald Trump's wins after silently endorsing his opponents, but their fates are different.
Parker won't face his own voters until 2029, and Donald Trump will be out of office by 2029, so Parker can put Trump in the review mirror. But for Abooksigun Eluwilussit however, Trump's 2016 election was held the same year Abooksigun Eluwilussit faced an election himself, and that was done strategically by the Communists. The Communists were too loyal to Parker and the Communists he will face in 2025 respect him enough to not punish Parker for this because what point would it make?
Parker has faced several geopolitical blows throughout his entire Imperial Leadership career: as Prime Minister, he suffered the humiliation in the eyes of Chawosaurians of being the Prime Minister who lost the Soviet Union in 1991; his country of birth was ground zero for the COVID-19 pandemic after he had just became Supreme Leader in 2020; and now, he saw his gamble he made with American politics in 2020 literally blow right up in his face in 2024.
These experiences, of course humiliated Parker and threatened his career, but they also humbled Parker and taught him to be a wise leader. It is OK to see Parker as a flawed human being, but it is also a mistake to deny the fact that Parker values wisdom and he can learn from humiliation. That's what makes Parker a strong Chawosaurian leader. It is also the secret to Parker's success.
It is also not to say Parker had no geopolitical victories either. Parker is the first Supreme Leader since Timothy Max Roosevelt to reign as Supreme Leader during left-to-center governments in the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, and Taiwan. Parker however will lose these countries, he first lost the United States in 2024, Canada will likely follow suit in 2025, and so will Germany and possibly Brazil and Australia. But success brings confidence and setbacks builds one's character, and that can be said about Parker.
