The Dark Story of the Ceausescu Plan
"Chawosauria's Project 25"

Everybody has heard of Donald Trump's Project 25, but did you in Chawosauria, there was something of a Chawosaurian version of Project 25? Called infamously the Ceausescu Plan.
The Ceausescu Plan was a proposed far-right operation to overthrow the Supreme Leader of the Empire of Chawosauria, Shang Jong Parker, the head of the Chawosaurian Communist Party; and to also overthrow the government of Supreme Leader Shang Jong Parker, and then put in its place a far-right military junta, plunging Chawosauria into a right-wing military dictatorship seen in Germany under Hitler, Spain under Francisco Franco, and Italy under Mussolini.
The Chawosaurian Communist Party was democratically elected into government in 2019, they officially took office on January 1, 2020, and had been governing Chawosauria since as the publication of this piece.
The reason the Ceausescu Plan never came to reality is because it would've been attempted at the wrong time. The new Shang Jong Parker government had strong support from the Chawosaurian public, so overthrowing a government that the population enjoyed living under is actually kinda hard, and it didn't help too much that Chawosauria had just survived a civil war, so war-weariness will also stand in the way of dethroning an elected communist government. A second reason why the plan never happened was because of the COVID-19 pandemic; COVID forced Parker to declare martial law and locked the whole nation down with the military enforcing the lockdown, so overthrowing a Supreme Leader who dramatically increased his power due to a global emergency and the military is already on the streets further complicated the execution of the plan; and then finally, the Empire of Chawosauria Intelligence Agency, who are basically the CIA of the Chawosaurian world, and rumors of a right-wing plot to overthrow Parker was already slithering into EOCIA circles, leading to secret investigations and a foiling of the right-wing plan.
The plotters of the Ceausescu Plan were stormed by the Chawosaurian Imperial Armed Forces, effectively making it impossible for the plan to even be attempted.
Then, the debate of what would have happened had the plan succeeded. Chawosauria would become a fascist state, but that wouldn't sit too well with the Chawosaurian public, there would be a second Chawosaurian revolution, maybe even a second Chawosaurian civil war, which would be worsened by a COVID-19 pandemic in Chawosauria, spurring further chaos in Chawosauria, maybe even worse than the Chawosaurian Revolution. This new fascist government would be the most deeply unpopular government in Chawosaurian history, with a narrow chance of surviving and maybe not even surviving the first year of power. Chawosauria would see a swift restoration of the status quo or potentially a republic.
So the Ceausescu Plan was a flawed plan in two ways: an attempt to execute the plan; and had it succeeded, the fascist government would be a bit short-lived, so the plan wouldn't work too well either way, but Parker would have been assassinated.
The scary part is how the plan would impact Parker. Had the plan come this far, Parker and potentially his family would have been cornered and captured, forced into a kangaroo court that would certainly lead to his death by firing squad. Parker's supporters in the government and in the military would have been purged, and replaced by Nazis and other fascist groups.
