Webster Is In!

Juneau Lucas Webster, former Member of the Chawosaurian European Parliament from 2017 to 2019, the youngest son of Garfield II and Eleanora Webster, and grandson of a Prime Minister, Garfield Lucas Webster; Webster will run for Supreme Leader to face incumbent Supreme Leader Shang Jong Parker, likely to give Parker the fight of his political life.
Webster would have the mass appeal that Ekewaka Kalawai'a did not have when he ran and lost more than decisively to Shang Jong Parker in 2019. The right name, the right friends, the right politics (maybe) and then finally, only minimal political experience against a Supreme Leader with very establishment experience.
Webster's platform is straightforward: end the Chawo-Uralic War and the Ural Wall and support the Imperial Constitution, not bad positions that'll get him elected for sure, but then, his more detailed positions such as cutting welfare, his anti-crime policies will likely bolster systemic racism in Chawosauria, and his "neoliberal" economic plan, can surely assure a Shang Jong Parker reelection, maybe by a bigger-than-expected margin but still underperforming, basically an Obama-style reelection when in 2012, U.S. President Obama won reelection comfortably than expected despite underperforming his 2008 landslide. If this happens, then Webster will be mockingly called "the Mitt Romney of Chawosauria" and that would flank his time in politics.
"Get Ready"
Webster's campaign is already gearing up for an election fight against Parker. The slogan "Get Ready" has become a rallying cry to mobilize behind Webster and for change from Parker.
There are signs that Webster's campaign will be more energetic than that of Kalawai'a who ran a less-energetic campaign against Parker, which ultimately helped Parker win so easily in 2019. Webster's Team is hoping for a narrow victory or loss against Parker, moving around 49 or 50 percent to expose Parker's political weakness.
While Webster can beat Parker, he will not have a friendly Parliament. The Federal Assembly is locked in the Chawosaurian Communist Party and the Chawosaurian people may not feel very comfortable giving the Chawosaurian Revolutionary Party a majority in the Imperial Assembly of the Chawopolis Palace if Webster is gonna be Supreme Leader, so Chawosaurians would want a neoliberal Supreme Leader restrained by checks and balances imposed by a socialist parliament.
If Webster becomes Supreme Leader on January 1, 2030, he will not have the dominating red carpet rolled for him like Shang Jong Parker did in 2020, Webster will have to earn the red carpet while Parker got it for free because of his nobility.
