2020-2024 Chawosaurian Government favors western boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics
The Supreme Leader of the Empire of Chawosauria, Shang Jong Parker and his Communist Party dominated Chawosaurian Imperial Government of 2020-2024 will favor a western boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics of 2022.
Parker and his Communist Party have been distant from the Beijing regime since its scrutinizing role in the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and they have been taking a different approach to the pandemic than both the United States and China, imposing a military lockdown to suppress the spread of COVID-19 in Chawosauria and it worked. Shang Parker and the Communists have done a good job distancing themselves from both China and the United States, having a pragmatic approach to foreign policy and winning bipartisan support from the Social Democratic Workers Labour Party, establishing a de-facto national unity government.
The 2022 Winter Olympics will be held in China, and China is boycotted for their genocide of Uyghurs, their treatment of Hong Kong, and other abuses and aggressions, and Parker joins the boycott pack against China.
