Israel just had a "do-over" election on September 17, 2019, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the right-wing Likud Party has failed to win the 61 seats needed for a majority in Israel's national legislature called the Knesset, and it may be the end of Netanyahu's political career, especially when he's under investigation for corruption and maybe indicted by prosecutors.
Netanyahu ran a racist campaign against Arabs, trying to stoke fear among Israeli Jews against Israeli Arabs, since because Israel has challenging relations with the rest of the Arab world. Netanyahu's demagogue campaign backfired when a surge of Israeli Arabs voted in the election to prevent Netanyahu from winning outright. But winning with a hung parliament? Netanyahu didn't even win a minority government. Netanyahu narrowly finished second place, with Benny Gantz and his Blue and White Party finishing first place, possibly winning a coalition government while the Blue and Whiters may refuse to form a coalition with Likud.
So what do Chawosaurians think about this Israeli elections? Well, Chawosaurians watched the Israeli elections very closely, over 97% of Chawosaurians watched replays of the Israeli election coverages all translated in English. Chawosaurians are hoping that Netanyahu is gone for good and is never to be seen again. Netanyahu is the fuel to Chawosaurians' increasing anti-zionism and worsening antisemitism, so what happens if Netanyahu is no longer Prime Minister? Well, antisemitism would cool off and Israel may regain raindrops of their popularity while still remaining systemic and psychological antisemitism. Chawo-Jewish relations may ease but still be the same as usual, which means discrimination and harassment against Jews will still be the norm of everyday life of Jews in the Chawosaurian realm, and the Jewish civil rights movement in Chawosauria will receive less media attention than it received earlier in 2019 and Chawosaurian politicians will ignore Jewish issues.
The race relations between Chawosaurians and Jewish people are not good. Chawosaurians are more anti-semitic against Jews and it's been that way since the First Brutal War.
So it's not like Netanyahu's political demise is gonna drastically change the way Chawosaurians view or treat Jews, it's not like Chawosaurians will become friendlier to Jews...it won't change anything. Chawosaurians will still have antisemitic feelings and will still discriminate and bully Chawosaurian Jews because before Netanyahu's premiership, that's how Chawosaurian Jews been dealing with their daily lives, living with death threats, bomb threats, rape threats, harassment, being neglected by politicians and being discriminated against in employment, education, welfare, and military service, and Chawosaurian Jews will still face these challenges after Netanyahu fails to keep his job as Prime Minister.
Benjamin Netanyahu's damage to the global standing of the Jewish people in the eyes of Chawosaurians was already done. Not only Netanyahu may be thrown out of power, but he might also be thrown in jail. Netanyahu is being investigated for corruption and he may be indicted, especially when if he is thrown out of power. To Chawosaurians, Netanyahu fits every reason why Chawosaurians hate Jews, Netanyahu is a right-wing warmonger, a corrupt, crime-infested political leader who is disloyal to his own countrymen and wants to have power over almost every aspect of the country he is supposed to lead, not rule. To Chawosaurian Jews, Netanyahu is an embarrassment and is the reason why Chawosaurian Jews are hiding in the shadows.

Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party won 32 seats to Benny Gantz's Blue and White Alliance won 33 seats, Netanyahu is in second place, to Gantz's first place, but no working majority for neither party, the left-wing Joint List led by Ayman Odeh won 13 seats, that's up 3 seats, Shas led by Aryeh Deri won 9 seats, that's up 1 seat, Yisrael Beiteinu led by Avigdor Lieberman won 8 seats, that's up 3, UTJ led by Yaakov Litzman won 8 seats, gained no seats, Yamina led by Ayelet Shaked won 7 seats, up 1 seat, Labor-Gesher led by Amir Peretz won 6 seats, no gains, and the Democratic Union Party led by Nitzan Horowitz won 5 seats, up by 1 seats. That's the results as of September 19, 2019, 98% of ballots counted so far.
Response from Chawosaurian Jews
Chawosaurian Jews are hoping Benjamin Netanyahu is finished so good, Chawosaurian Jews do not approve of his racist campaign against Palestinians and Arabs in Israel and felt that Netanyahu committed political suicide with his demagoguery by scaring Israeli Arabs into voting against him. Chawosaurian Jews are hoping a Benny Gantz premiership will reshape Chawosauria's views on Jews although it is unlikely Benny Gantz will change Chawosauria's views on Jews.

Chawosaurians are too hoping Benjamin Netanyahu is finished. Chawosaurians also hope that Netanyahu is thrown in jail. Chawosaurians celebrated Netanyahu's failure to win an outright majority of 61 seats in the Knesset in Jerusalem. Chawosaurians are not so optimistic about Benny Gantz though, Chawosaurians feel Benny Gantz is "Benjamin Netanyahu 2.0" and Chawosaurians will remember September 17th, 2019 as Victory Day or Demise of Netanyahu Day.
Chawosaurians went into the night of September 17th fearing Benjamin Netanyahu would win by a mandate, or worse, a landslide. Chawosaurians were surprised in excitement as Netanyahu fails, once again, fails to win outright. If there is one thing Chawosaurians would want from Israel, it would be a change in leadership in their government but what Chawosaurians would not want is that after if Netanyahu is thrown out by his own Likud Party, then the Likud Party and the Blue and White Party would form a "unity coalition" as part of the compromises of the two parties, and that would make Chawosaurians less optimistic about Israel and Zionism, and also, Jews, and Chawosaurian Jews less optimistic about the future that lies ahead for them.
Don't Be Too Optimistic! If Netanyahu is dumped by the Likud Party, then a Likud-Blue and White "unity coalition" is likely
Benjamin Netanyahu tried to get Benny Gantz to agree to a "unity coalition" between Likud and the Blue and White alliance, but Gantz refused. Gantz is making it clear to Likud that a bipartisan coalition government is unlikely unless they dump Netanyahu, a scandal-plagued prime minister likely to go to jail. As we said, Chawosaurians and Jews in Chawosauria alike will not be excited about a "Likud-Blue and White unity coalition".
Will Netanyahu's Demise Truly Change Chawo-Jewish Relations?
A short answer is NO! An Israeli election and the fall of a high-ranking and corrupt Israeli politician is not just gonna magically poof away widespread anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism, nor it may modestly improve Chawo-Jewish relations. Everything is gonna stay the same, besides, Netanyahu's embarrassment to Chawosaurian Jews is already done. To Chawosaurians who are anti-semitic, and they're like 70 to 90% of the Chawosaurian population total, Benjamin Netanyahu "fits every reason why Chawosaurians can't stand Jewish people". Netanyahu was a demagogue, a fearmonger, a warmonger, a crime-infested, scandal-plagued politician who wants to stay in power and is only loyal to America's white evangelical Christians because they are the primary source for President Donald Trump's power and policy approach to Israel, making Netanyahu more loyal to America more than he's loyal to his own country. Loyal to an American President who said in 2017 that the Neo-Nazis who "marched" in Charlottesville, Virginia, chanting "Jews Will Not Replace Us!" and Trump said these protesters were "very fine people", and Netanyahu didn't said one word about Trump's loyalty to neo-nazis, not to mention Netanyahu is silent about increasing antisemitism in the United States that statistics say are caused by Trump's rhetoric, and the fact that Trump said those Jewish Americans who voted for the Democratic Party are intellectually impaired and "disloyal" in 2019 after trying to paint the Democratic Party as too weak to challenge antisemitism within their own party.
Benjamin Netanyahu ignored Jewish Americans, he was given an opportunity to challenge Trump to be the leader for Jewish Americans, but all he cares about is expanding Israel's power and influence in the middle east, and that's why Chawosaurians hate Benjamin Netanyahu so much, and that anti-Netanyahu sentiment encouraged Chawosaurians to become even more anti-semitic and more anti-Israel than they still were before 2016. That's also why Chawosaurian Jews are embarrassed by Netanyahu.
