Did Churchill Help End British Political Party Rule Over Chawosauria?

The post-1945 Chawosaurian election blame game by the losing British Parties had several people to blame for their disastrous defeat in the 1945 elections for the Chawopolis Palace. The story begins where after the end of World War II, the war-crippled Chawosauria universally voted for the Chawosaurian Communist Party because of Britain's role in the war. The Communist Party of Chawosauria (called the Chawallian Communist Party) was the only Chawosaurian-based party in Chawosauria, and there were two parties that came from Britain where Chawosaurian politicians (despite the party alignments from their home nations) often aligned themselves with since the 1899 elections before after the war.

The era of British Party rule over Chawosauria

(1900 - 1945)

The two British-based parties were the Conservative Party UK and the Liberal Party UK, and while the British Government didn't rule Chawosauria throughout the 20th Century, Chawosaurian politicians, as part of the Westminster Agreement signed by the Chawosaurians after losing the First Brutal War to the British in 1895, aligned with the two British Parties despite the party affiliations of their homelands. The parties were treated as Multi-Party alliances or coalitions because Chawosaurian politicians who were part of Liberal Parties were mandated by the agreement to join the Liberal Party UK, and Chawosaurian politicians who were part of Conservative Parties were mandated by the agreement to join the Conservative Party UK, but there was some resistance, in the 1905 Chawosaurian elections, Jonathan MacAlasdair was tired of British Party rule over Chawosaurian politics, so he left the Liberal Party UK and became the lone Liberal separate from the mainstream Liberals, the only Canadian Liberal, in other words, to have refused to align with the British Liberal Party. Well, in the 1905 elections, his Canadian Liberal Party gained 166 seats, while the British Liberals gained 147 seats, from the Conservative Party UK, causing the Conservatives to lose a total 313 seats, but in the 1909 elections, MacAlasdair's Canadian Liberal caucus lost 30 seats, the incoming Prime Minister, Garfield Lucas Webster, refused to support either British Party or the Canadian Liberal Party, Webster preferred the British Labour Party, but Socialist parties were banned and Webster was lobbied to join the British Parties, but he decided against the Lobbying efforts, and refused to run for the Palace while maintaining his position as Prime Minister. Webster controversially canceled the 1915 legislative elections because of World War I, but the 1919 legislative elections were lucky to proceed. MacAlasdair's withdraw from the UK Liberal Party inspired Malcolm Lyons MacKenzie Wilson Jr to start a Canadian Conservative Party revolution, and he gained 57 seats, but then they created a bipartisan alliance with the UK Conservative Party to help them govern because the Palace had no clear partisan majority, and a Communist was elected as well.

The MacAlasdair Revolution proliferated in the 1925 legislative elections, with a Danish Conservative withdrawing from the Conservative alliance. This caused turmoil within the Conservatives in the Chawopolis Palace and the Canadian Conservatives withdrew as well over disagreements over British rule over Canada. Problems strike as Wilson and MacAlasdair faced prejudice over the fact that they're Celts, and on election night, the UK Liberal Party gained their first majority, winning 415 seats to the 185 seats opposing the party, 184 British Conservatives and one Communist. The Canadian parties collapsed, and the Danish Conservative lost reelection.

1926-1939 was a peaceful era for the British Parties, mostly for the British Conservative Party, after losing a big election in 1925, they gained 50 seats in the 1929 elections, and then 59 seats in 1935, from the British Liberals led by Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X. The Great Depression was challenging for the British Parties, but Hitler's rise to power foreshadowed the fall of the British Party rule over Chawosauria.

On September 1, 1939, Adolf Hitler ordered the invasion of Poland, thus starting World War II, and it was already too late to cancel the 1939 legislative elections. While the British Parties did retain their power, the Communist Party gained 36 seats in Brazil and Argentina, and Fascist Parties made gains in Chawosauria as well. Throughout the war, the British Parties, especially the new Prime Minister, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, seemed to have enjoyed life, but as the war reaches to a conclusion, warning signs for the British Parties began to appear. Before the U.S. entered the war, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and U.K. Prime Minister Winston Churchill signed a deal, the Destroyers-for-bases deal, which states the U.S. will hand over navy ships to Britain to use to defend themselves against German U-Boats, but Britain had to pay America back by handing over their military bases over to America, and end trade roots with their colonies in Africa and India, this played a role in the collapse of the British Empire

With the Charter taking effect on Britain's African colonies, that means the Chawosaurian members of the British Parties will have little access to African diamonds and gold that they used to fund their campaigns from one legislative election after another, but now the 1945 legislative elections are starting to loom since Japan surrendered, the British Parties couldn't fund their campaigns, while the Chawosaurian Communist Party has greater access to the Soviet Union. Already Churchill lost reelection as Prime Minister in 1945.

1945 Chawosaurian Legislative Elections

Results of the 1945 Chawopolis Palace Elections

Timothy Max Roosevelt - Communist Party - 358 seats*
Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII - Liberal Party UK - 139 seats
Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy I - Conservative Party UK - 103 seats

In the 1945 Chawopolis Palace elections, the Communist Party, led by their party leader, Timothy Max Roosevelt, led his party from third place to first place, a majority place at 358 seats, and Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's Liberal Party UK won 139 seats, and Jonathan Sidney MacCarthy I's Conservative Party UK won 103 seats.

This election was a landslide for the Communist Party, winning 59% of seats in the Palace, and 90% of the popular vote. This election effectively ended British Party rule over Chawosauria and broke up the union between Chawosauria and Britain forever. By the 1949 elections, the former members of the British Parties formed the Coalition Party, a party led by Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, and the second Chawosaurian-based political party. The Communist Party's new place in the Palace was reaffirmed, the Communist Party majority was reelected, and they will dominate 13 more legislative elections from 1955 to 2015. The Palace earned the name "The Red Palace" and the Communist Party reigned the Palace from 1946 until 2017, this became known as the Era of the Red Palace
