Read Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's Gay Rights Record!

Pride Month is over and one question is what does Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's record on LGBTQ+ Rights look like? Well, it's not good actually, Bismarck is no hero to the LGBT Community. Bismarck was born in 1890 Romania, and back in 1890, the world of LGBT people was extremely different than it is today, only the Muslim world and many nations in Africa stayed behind.

As a child, Bismarck's religious elders taught him that homosexuality was a sin and that those who perform this act are subjected to eternal damnation. Bismarck viewed homosexuality as immoral and deemed it a serious threat to the traditional basis of family and the moral order of society. Bismarck passed these conservative beliefs to his children and supported traditional family values. Bismarck didn't advocate these beliefs into conservative politics until after the Stonewall Riots.

Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII's LGBT Rights Record

Before Stonewall

Bismarck was raised by the societal norms and values of the 19th century, which meant Bismarck didn't had mich of a good record on gay rights. Bismarck rarely discussed homosexuality, and when he had discussed it, it was purely negative. In the 1920s, homosexuality was becoming visible in society, especially in the film industry, and Bismarck was disgusted by the openness of homosexuals. Bismarck never wanted to visit Berlin.

When Bismarck became Prime Minister in 1940, he rolled back protections for government employees who were gay.

After Stonewall

After the Stonewall Riots in 1969 New York City, Bismarck panicked as the Gay rights movement begins. In 1971, Bismarck fired an intern who turned out to be Transgender, and in 1973, Bismarck took a stance against same-sex marriage although same-sex marriage was never legal anywhere in the world until 2000 with the Netherlands and many nations in the Western World by 2019. Unlike his successful crusade against Chawosaurian Jews and Gentiles, he never succeeded at implementing his anti-gay policies because of widespread support for LGBT rights all across Chawosauria.

Bismarck's record on gay rights are pretty bad. He opposed same-sex marriage, and he criticized LGBT Rights to employment, adoption, and all other matters. Gays were banned from attending his state funeral in 2014.
