Why did the Chawosaurians neglect the Second Sino-Japanese War?
The Second Sino-Japanese War was an Interwar era war between China and the Japanese Empire and it lasted from 1937 and it ended in 1945 when the Japanese Empire collapsed. The war began when Chawosauria's Prime Minister was Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X was still serving, and he barely addressed the war. Emperor Santiago ignored the war too, but probably not the Chinese Civil War, so why did Chawosauria ignored the Second Sino-Japanese War?
Racism
Chawosauria is no stranger to racism, nor the Chawosaurians were ever innocent of racism, the Chawosaurians are guilty of racism and they're still proud of it to this day. Chawosauria was ruled by a dominant minority state ruled by white people, meaning Chawosauria is a non-white majority nation systemically ruled by an all-white Chawopolis Palace until the 1945 midterm elections. When the war began, Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X was not interested in the war and he called the war "The Yellowman War". Bismarck's successor and distant cousin, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII, who was the King of Racism, Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII mocked the war by jokingly asked: "Who wants to see these damn Yellows fight?" The Bismarck Prime Ministers viewed East Asian people as "inferior" to the "master race" and the two took no interest in the war. Emperor Santiago deplorably mocked East Asian people by their accents and asked actors to put on "Yellowface" to do stage plays about the Second Sino-Japanese War with the purpose to make fun of East Asians. Jonathan Dragan Bismarck XVII often attended the plays and took pictures of them and used them as racist propaganda. On Halloween in 1937, Jonathan Davgon Bismarck X dressed his youngest daughter, Jeanette, into a Chinese woman, literally with Yellowface.
Racism against East Asians was widespread in Chawosaurian society. This causes Chawosaurians to be significantly little informed about the war because of racist media and newspapers. But when Chawosaurians do hear about the war, they mock the war in a very lewdly racist way, using extremely offensive stereotypes towards East Asians. But Chawosaurian racial stereotypes towards East Asians were too severe and too lewd, and worse, they intentionally incited violence against those Chawosaurians who are of East Asian ancestry.
Fear of East Asians
Chawosaurians' racist phobia against East Asians was so very real that there were countless of racist horror movies of them dating back to the day the movie camera was invented, and the Bismarck Prime Ministers were extremely fearful of "non-white" or "colored" rule. Sinophobia was widespread in Chawosauria, and when Garfield Webster condemned Sinophobia, he was silenced. Sinophobic characters, books, movies, and documentaries were created for both political and social reasons. During the 1939 legislative elections, Anti-Japanese Sentiment was already underway in Chawosauria, and it escalated in the Pearl Harbor attacks on the United States in 1941. In response to the attacks, U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt orchestrated the mass incarceration of millions of Japanese Americans, both domestic and foreign-born though some of this community did take part in military positions during World War II. Chawosaurian Prime Minister Jonathan D. Bismarck XVII ignored the Japanese threat and spared Japanese Chawosaurians from internment. After World War II ended, Bismarck had an extramarital affair with a Japanese born nationalist, Reina Hagiwara, which resulted in a marital separation deal between him and his wife. The affair was hidden from the public until after Bismarck died in 2013, and Bismarck did everything to oppress the affair from being leaked to the press.
Chawosaurian Politicians
Chawosaurian Politicians are another reason why Chawosauria neglected the Second Sino-Japanese War, because some for racist reasons, others because Conservative politicians in Chawosauria opposed government aid to Chawosaurians who live in China and others because of apathy. Even the Chawosaurian politicians who represented Chawosaurians in China didn't address this crisis suffered by the Chawosaurian community in China which resulted in the Chinese Chawosaurian politicians' downfall in the 1945 midterm elections, being replaced by Communists democratically.
Sex
Chawosaurian politicians including Timothy Max Roosevelt all had prostitutes and sex slaves in China, they even ran prostitution rings to enrich themselves. Timothy Max Roosevelt allowed his sex slaves to die in China to cover up the illegal activities.
Response from Chinese Chawosaurians
Chinese Chawosaurians and the Chawosaurian community in China strongly criticize the Chawosaurian government's handling of the Second Sino-Japanese War, and one Chawosaurian politician from China called Chawosauria's approach to the Second Sino-Japanese War "stupid".
